Grains have gotten a bad rap lately. We’ve always known that whole grains cooked properly are digestible and very nutritious. We carry only organic heirloom grains. High in Minerals and protein and used in the old world, often for survival. We focus on ancient wheat – farro, emmer, einkorn and spelt.
We also love amaranth and quinoa which are some of the most nutritious grains ever grown and, happen to be gluten free. Our selection of corn includes grits, cornmeal and nixtamalized masa which are more digestable. Oats, rye, rice and barley’s including our black buffalo barley round out our selection.
