Juniper Berries come from an evergreen shrub that grows throughout the Northern Hemisphere. In Europe Juniper Berries are used in marinades for pickled elk and beef. These berries are of very high quality and fragrant. We like to add a few juniper berries into our sauerkraut and specialty coffee drinks. In the United States these berries might be most notably use as a flavoring for gin.
