Minglement started the organic food movement and bulk buying program on the island long ago, when organic wasn’t as popular as it is now and led the way to support island farms offering, organic produce raw milk, goat milk and island eggs.
Minglement keeps things simple like the smaller European markets, where you can pick up what you need for the day’s meal. Choosing among organic high quality meats, many from the island’s family farms or fisheries, as well as dairy, pantry items and produce from local food hubs.
Fragrant bulk herbs and exotic spices are complemented with a large selection of local honeys, high-quality vitamins, supplements, and carefully sourced body care products. Organic and no GMO’s.
It is fitting that at the very heart of our island is a place to warm up with locally roasted coffee and conversation, as well as to shop at this very special marketplace that links to a nostalgic Vashon past while also pointing to an essential vision of a healthier, greener future.
