Locally sourced ingredients  Organic yarrow, a traditional aromatic herb long used as a bitter digestive tea and, in stronger infusions, as an external wash for minor wounds. The yarrow pictured here is from my garden. All three of these plants were used by the eclectics at one time or another. This tasty calming, diaphoretic tea is made with organic elder flowers, yarrow, and linden flowers.  –  Folklore of the Elder:   Gifts of water, beer, milk, cake, or bread would often be found around an elder bush.
